The U-System modular pergola system was developed from an initial design by architect Martirià Figueras. It combines porticos and awnings in different sizes and materials, creating a multitude of configurations that adapt to the space according to the needs of each project.
The inverted U-shaped porticos support the shade elements suspended along the structure. This pergola provides visual lightness while creating an optimal climate shelter for spaces where shade from vegetation is not possible. The wide variety of shade materials available for the pergola provides versatility, both aesthetically and in terms of the projected shade surface.
MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS
• Porticos made of rectangular profiles 150 x 100 mm made of hot-dip galvanized steel (optional painted).
• Cover in materials to choose from (M, T, W, A, C, V, P, H, X, S, E).
• Support beam under the portico in UPN 140 profile with auxiliary structure, all hot-dip galvanized.
• Screws for fixing and joining all elements in stainless steel.
• Anchoring planned for a concrete base buried beneath the pavement. Alternative solutions are planned.
