Within the framework of the Urban Climate Resilience Program promoted by the company C40 CitiesAnd as a pilot project, four climate shelters were opened in the neighborhood of Crescenzago in MilanThese structures provide sun protection in an area of intense heat and lack of vegetation. In areas like this, creating shade structures with places to rest beneath them is essential to maintaining the area's dynamism.

For this project we have made an adaptation of the pergola PerdauAdding tables and seats, this model features wheelchair access, allowing for barrier-free use of the table. Its painted galvanized steel frame and heat-treated wood cladding ensure a long, maintenance-free product lifespan.

The initiative by these organizations to create shaded areas where vegetation is not possible is essential to ensuring the humanization of public spaces. Expanding climate-controlled shelters in cities should be a priority so that public spaces can be enjoyed year-round, regardless of the weather.
