Within the framework of the redevelopment of the square where the Ibelo factory was formerly located, in Sulzbach. The factory of what was once the largest lighter manufacturer in Europe, which closed its doors in 2000 and was demolished in 2009, gave rise to this space for which we designed and installed a set of kiosks and pergolas that promote the revitalization of the square.
In the city center, right in front of the main building of the City Hall, we have installed two kiosks HavanaOn the one hand, we designed a kiosk to offer bar service to the population, and on the other hand, a toilet kiosk that has a private cabin for the bar employees, an adapted cabin and two other individual ones, all of them fully equipped. The occupation of the toilets is indicated by a red/green light indicator.
The toilet kiosk is characterized by its technological innovation. At the customer's request, it has a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) control system that allows the regulation of consumption, door locking or the alarm of the adapted WC. Thanks to this system, the module can be controlled remotely via the Internet or an app.
Both modules are equipped with additional insulation and electric underfloor heating, ensuring their operation in winter.
La pergola Habana It acts as a boundary for the parking area. It has heat-treated wooden slats with integrated LED lighting and also has an additional polycarbonate cover in some sections.
The innovation presented by this modular set is that the roofs of both kiosks are prepared to receive plant covers and the pergolas The surrounding areas have a rainwater collection system that is channeled using the pergola pillars.
