In the neighborhood of Congrés i els Indians in the district of Sant Andreu in Barcelona, the renovation project of the children's playground has been carried out. Massana GardensThis project, promoted by activist Ana Mourelo and a promoter of inclusive gaming in Barcelona, was the winner of the district's participatory budgets. Under the slogan "First inclusive park in Barcelona» This park was designed and planned to accommodate all children, regardless of their abilities, ensuring access to play and fun for all.
Within this project, together with Landscape Structures We designed a boat packed with activities at different levels. This accessible and inclusive mega-structure features 10 sensory panels, a roller slide, and a RollerSlide, a double slide, and a fireman's pole, among other play elements that complete the structure. Our boat Playbooster It is packed with activities and stimulation for children from 5 to 12 years old. With the game system Playbooster de Landscape Structures We can configure and customize play structures adapted to each project and space.
One of our flagship games is our horizontal slide, Roller Table, a roller table with a transfer platform that allows for fun and stimulating transfer play. This play element has already been installed in various parks throughout the city, setting a benchmark for inclusivity and accessibility.
To complete the inclusive play area, we have also installed sensory panels that provide the remaining stimulation, such as: Marble Panel, to develop fine motor skills by providing tactile and visual stimuli; Color Splash Panel, which provides visual and motor stimuli, and Ball Maze, which helps children use their ingenuity and imagination while practicing skills such as concentration, coordination and instant reaction.
At URBADIS | microarquitectura we are very proud to have been part of this project and to work tirelessly alongside Landscape Structures to create inclusive play areas where all children can play.
