Project Description
KIOSK BAR, TOILETS AND PUBLIC SERVICES FOR INTEGRAL EQUIPMENT OF A LARGE URBAN SPACE
In this large multipurpose urban space designed by the Swiss architect Carlos López, several public markets are set up weekly, fairs, circuses and any other type of event.
Microarchitecture has installed six new modules, grouped in 3 areas. Two of these areas function as a bar and the third serves the markets, the maintenance brigade and skatepark users, who have a meeting room, a workshop and a support space for their activity. They are equipped with public toilets adapted for people with physical disabilities.
The outer material is aluminum sheet with undulations in horizontal direction with the intention of contributing, both for its color and brightness as its texture, to integrate the modules in the environment without having too much presence.
