New materials for the Havana kiosks of Microarquitectura

The Havana kiosks of Microarchitecture renew their image. In addition to the HPL panels (high pressure laminates) in which any type of graphics can be applied by means of vinyls, and of the ceramic or vitreous finishes, Microarchitecture proposes new materials for the exterior of its kiosks.

Toilets with technological wood finish

The slats used have a marbled finish similar to that of natural wood.

In this case, they have been placed in two directions, vertical and horizontal, with a classic overlap of tables, which gives it a timeless appearance, despite being a design with a contemporary language.

Technological wood is a natural composition, which combines wood from controlled farms with resins. It presents a high resistance against heat, humidity and mechanical wear and is 100% recyclable

Stainless steel kiosks

These new Havana microarchitecture kiosks are located in the Port of Barcelona, facing the sea, so one of the basic requirements is its high resistance to corrosion. Stainless steel was used in plates placed horizontally.

The discreet constructions are integrated in the port in a respectful way and thanks to this intervention, the area is provided with small leisure spaces. The terraces of the kiosks bar, and the fast food or candy stands are filled with visitors every day.
